Surroundings & Culture

It is a given fact that Andalacia is rich in nature & culture, it is for this reason simply impossible and too much to sum up everything. The following is a selection made by us.

Immediate surroundings
Finca El Moralejo is nestled against a 25 ha woods area and just a few miles from Sierra de las Nieves Park. Within walking distance you can explore Rio Grande with waterfalls and the purest water where even otters have been spotted. Indulge yourself by taking a dip in the refreshing waters of the Rio Grande, as our guests show on the photos below!

Nature lovers of flora & fauna will have an overflood to explore, exclusively in this area the "pinsapo" florishes, tree from prehistoric times that survived on the high hills of Sierra de las Nieves. Because the South of Spain is as well a narrow cross-over the sea towards Africa as well as a perfect perfect for birds, no wonder birdwatchers love this region.

The historic cities of Andalucia
It is not unusual for our guests to stay-over in another setting. If you would draw a straight line between all the towns of Andalucia, Finca el Moralejo would be the ecenter of it all. Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba & Jerez de la Frontera are the classic citytrips within cultural Andalucia. Especially the longterm guests and the "winter" make profit of our central location. Winterguests could go and ski in Sierra Nevada while summerguests like to visit the Alhambra in Granada. Therefor we have attractive rates for longterm and winterguests.
